Get the stories that interest you straight to your inbox every day with our personalised newsletterThe Ayrshire Roads Alliance are planning a weekend of carriage closures to carry out routine maintenance works, including grass cutting and litter picking, to sections of the A71.The works, from Bellfield Interchange to Moorfield roundabout and to Corsehill roundabout at the North Ayrshire Council boundary, will be carried out between 5am and 8pm on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23.Due to the nature and location of the works it will be necessary to implement full carriageway closures on Saturday, August 22.Carriageway closures will be in place in both directions between the Moorfield Roundabout and the North Ayrshire Council boundary.
