James Bond star Daniel Craig’s father Tim Craig dies aged 77

Daniel Craig’s father has died following liver cancer, according to local media reports. Tim Wroughton Craig died at the age of 77, with Cheshire Live reporting that wife Kirsty and sons Daniel and Harry, the James Bond star’s half-brother, were at his bedside.

The businessman had lived near Oswestry in Shrewsbury with his wife and died on Thursday of last week.Despite his worldwide success as the iconic superspy James Bond, Daniel has kept his familt life out of the limelight.

Tim had previously told the Chester Chronicle: ‘He doesn’t talk about me and I don’t talk about him, but naturally I am extremely proud of him as he is a very fine actor.’Daniel is currently set to star in his fifth and final Bond movie, No Time To Die, which is due.
