thesun.co.ukA PLACE in the Sun fans were left baffled after a guest refused to pay another £2k to bag their dream home. Channel 4 host Jonnie Irwin was tasked with finding Paul and Michelle their perfect holiday home in Spain’s Costa Calida.
The couple had a maximum budget of £70,000 - but were hoping to secure a property for less. Jonnie first showed the couple a two-bedroom apartment on a golf complex in Alhama de Murcia.
But it didn't go down well as it was too small and not suitable for a family home. They wanted the perfect home for their elderly parents and grown-up sons to visit.
The property expert then showed the couple a two-bed bungalow with traditional Spanish décor - but the couple immediately ruled it out.
