A Place in the Sun when she had to find a character holiday home in southern Spain on a tight budget.In Monday's episode (August 30) of the Channel 4 show that first aired in 2019, Yorkshire couple Marianne and Anthony had £50,000 to shell out for a home in the Axarquía region.The task was certainly not easy and just minutes into the show viewers were complaining about the size and quality of the first property.It was a one-bedroom townhouse for sale in Comares with two living rooms and an open-plan fitted kitchen.Upstairs there was a double bedroom, family shower room, and a laundry area.While it was on budget at €49,900 it failed to impress Marianne and Anthony and left people at home feeling just as aghast.Commenting on Twitter, one user.
