A-level students have been warned they should not hug each other on an unprecedented socially distanced results day. Headteachers have told pupils they should not embrace even if they're feeling emotional when they receive their grades.
Any teens who go into school to collect their results on Thursday should remember to uphold the social distancing guidelines outlined by the Government.
Headteachers are worried results day will involve large groups of students meeting at school, "many of whom are likely to be emotional and so will find social distancing even more challenging than usual", the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) told the Telegraph.
