husband was crushed to death by an Aga after moving the heavy cooker to the other side of the kitchen in his country home, which he shared with his wife Elizabeth.
Farmer Anthony Rees, 78, had the Aga - which weighed up to half a tonne - on a small wheel trolley when it overturned. An inquest heard that Mr Rees told Elizabeth that he "wanted to get the job done" when she wanted the cooker moved across the kitchen.
The cooker tragically pinned grandfather Mr Rees to the floor when the 470 kilo Aga toppled off the trolley, reports The Mirror.His wife and surrounding neighbours desperately tried to save him but he could sadly not be resuscitated.
