Mesut Ozil isn't the first footballer to be suspended by his club and he certainly won't be the last.On Thursday, Fenerbahce announced the ex-Arsenal star would serve a spell on the sidelines, alongside ex-Watford midfielder Ozan Tufan, following an incident at the weekend.
The pair were reportedly involved in a verbal altercation with the team's interim manager Ismail Kartal, with Ozil having been hauled off at half-time.
The 33-year-old has now been excluded from the Turkish giants' squad and will reportedly be forced to find new club in the summer, should the situation not be resolved.
The incident arrives a mere 14 months after Ozil's Arsenal contract was ripped up following a fallout with manager Mikel Arteta.
