One person has been killed with at least eight more injured after a GloRilla concert in Rochester, New York on Sunday, Associated News and NBC News reports.
An unnamed 33-year-old woman has been confirmed dead with two of the eight injured in a critical condition. The incident took place at Main Street Armory and reportedly started when fans thought they heard gunfire inside the venue, leading to a stampede.
Police found “no evidence to support a shooting having occurred” inside the venue, Rochester Police Lieutenant Nicholas Adams said in a statement.
