Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has claimed that the club will not be attempting to sign Arsenal target Houssem Aouar before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Aouar is one of the most highly-sought after players in Europe following his impressive performances for Lyon over the last few seasons, and Mikel Arteta is said to have identified him as his No.1 target.
They will face competition for his signature, however, with French side PSG also known to be interested. Madrid were another club linked with Aouar, but speaking at a press conference on Saturday Zidane played down the rumours.
