Manchester United’s famous stadium plays host to the opening fixture of the competition on July 6, 2022, after the Covid-19 pandemic forced the UEFA to push it back by a year.Old Trafford and the Manchester City Academy Stadium are two of the nine stadiums across the country which will both host the 31 fixtures for the 16-team tournament before the final takes place at Wembley on July 31.
While UEFA were initially disappointed to have to reschedule the Women’s Euros, the dates across July 2022 should allow it to attract more attention.
