A murder investigation has been launched after a young woman's body was discovered in the boot of a car near the Essex border.
Northamptonshire Police initiated the probe following concerns for the welfare of a 24-year-old woman from Corby on November 13.
The grim discovery was made by Metropolitan Police officers, acting on information from their Northamptonshire counterparts.
The park near Brisbane Road was cordoned off as forensic teams examined the area around the vehicle, reports the Mirror.The Met Police confirmed they were alerted about the missing woman earlier this month.
