Miho Nakayama dead at 54 as Japanese actress' body found in bathtub
dailyrecord.co.ukJapanese actress Miho Nakayama has been found dead in her bathtub in Tokyo.The 54-year-old, known best for starring in the 1995 movie Love Letter, was found dead at her home on Friday.
After she failed to show up for work, a member of her team went to Ms Nakayama's home to check up on her, but tragically, she was found unresponsive when her co-worker arrived at the residence.She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is now being investigated by police.The Mirror reports that the actress was set to perform at a Christmas show in Osaka today.
However, the event was cancelled a number of days before her death as she reportedly told organisers that she was in poor health.A statement published by her agency to her website confirmed her death.
