Woman has jaw replaced after stretching mouth to eat KFC burger

KFC stacked burger. Holly Strevens, 34, now suffers from constant pain, has undergone a total of five operations and has had 12 screws fitted on the left side of her mouth as her jaw dislocated when she was eating a Wicked Zinger burger.

The mum-of-one was diagnosed with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) syndrome, which is a condition that affects the jaw muscles and the nerves, and it is usually caused by injury or inflammation to the connection between the jawbone and the skull, reports Manchester Evening News.Holly stated: “I feel angry that this has happened but it can happen to anyone who opens their mouth too wide.“I was healthy before eating my KFC burger in September 2014."I didn't have any underlying health issues.
