Tesco customer is set to have a unique Easter celebration this weekend.Teacher Amy Prince bought a Tesco-own brand Easter Egg Garland to stick on her wall to give herself a bit of Easter cheer. But instead of saying “Happy Easter”, the colourful egg-themed banner actually says “Happy Eastey”.The mistake was taken in jest by the woman, who tweeted: “@Tesco I thought April fools was the 1st of the month… I kind of like it though?“Happy Eastey everyone!”Tesco did reply to the woman, apologising for the error and told her take it back to a shop if she still had the receipt. However, she did not but said she would keep it – presumably for its comedy value. The Daily Star reached out to both Amy and Tesco for comment on the egg-citing banner incident. In more Easter-related bad news for Tesco, researchers from Which?

looked into the best value Easter meals out there in Britain’s leading supermarkets – and the blue and white supermarket did not do well overall.According to Which?’s research, the best value location for half a leg of lamb (950g-1.27kg) is Asda, which is selling one for £10.99.Waitrose came in second at £11.62, while Sainsbury's was priced at £12.Tesco and Ocado were a little more expensive, coming in at £13.50 and £14.50 respectively. If you’re looking for a lamb shoulder (1-2kg) then Tesco is your best bet at £8.50, narrowly beating competition from Asda at £9 and Sainsbury’s at £9.50.If chicken is your preferred option then look no further than Aldi, which will fix you up with a 1.6-2kg whole bird for as little as £1.87.

Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Asda all also have cheap options at £2.35, £2.37 and £2.38 respectively. For pork (1-2kg), Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Lidl were all joint cheapest at £2.89, with Tesco and Asda.
