Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has announced that she is set to return to the show on Tuesday, in her first TV interview since the tragic death of her son Jamal Edwards MBE.

Brenda opened up about the heartbreaking loss of her son and her return to the daytime panel show in a clip from the new interview with co-star Coleen Nolan.

The presenter thanked her fellow Loose Women panelists for their support in the aftermath of her son’s passing. Music mogul Jamal passed away in February of a “sudden heart attack”, aged just 31.

As the founder of new music platform SBTV, he helped to launch the careers of Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé and Jessie J. Tributes poured in for the entrepreneur following news of his death, with the official YouTube Twitter account saying that the industry had "lost a legend".
