Since its official launch last July, NBC’s subscription service Peacock hasn’t exactly set the world on fire. Positive press for sitcoms like “Rutherford Falls,” “Girls 5eva,” and “We Are Lady Parts” have gained the streamer a modest cultural foothold, but Peacock is mostly lacking the kind of bingeworthy series that established players like Netflix or Hulu seem to generate every other month.
