Willian seems to have admitted defeat in his contract battle with Chelsea and looks set for the exit door. The Brazil international is perhaps the most key player at the club whose contract expires in the summer.
Pedro, Willy Caballero and Olivier Giroud are among the others who have deals coming to an end in 2020. However, negotiations with Willian look to have arrived at a standstill.
Chelsea have only offered the 31-year-old a two-year deal but Willian is asking for three. The club do not usually give players over 30 contracts over one year so to even consider three would be breaking some serious rules.
