Netflix’s new documentary The Last Dance has kept millions of viewers gripped with its tales of extremes from competitiveness to the downright debauchery. Three NBA greats – Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen – are the stars of the show so far but their stories couldn’t be any more different from one another.
The Last Dance gives viewers unprecedented access to Michael’s final season with the Chicago Bulls between 1997 and 1998 when the team sought to obtain their second three-peat.
While the first-hand interviews and backstage access to Jordan, Scottie and Dennis will satisfy the appetites of devoted basketball fans, the showmanship side to their fame is what’s really keeping the rest of us entertained.
