Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain will not air today in an ITV schedule shake-up, as the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 will be shown instead.This Morning and Lorraine will air as usual, after the former was absent from yesterday's schedule.The Women's World Cup will see the Filipino and Swedish teams go head to head, with the match airing from 6am until 8, where it will be followed by an episode of The Chase, before ITV's schedule returns to normal with Lorraine at 9am.
It comes after regular host Susanna Reid paid her farewells to viewers as she left for her extended summer break. It's yet to be announced who will take over, but her fellow GMB hosts Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway could take a more prominent role during the summer holidays.
Susanna's departure comes after her fellow ITV star Holly Willoughby also headed off on her summer break. However, she did so without saying her usual goodbye.
In previous years, Holly and former co-star Phillip Schofield had always announced they were taking their holiday together before giving a friendly sign-off.
