Donny van de Beek is not 'frozen out' at Manchester United but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants him to keep showing signs of improvement if he is to ever become a first-team regular.
The Dutchman was promised an increase in playing time this season at United, after a difficult first campaign, but so far that game-time hasn't been forthcoming.
He was once again an unused substitute on Sunday, as United were thrashed 5-0 by Liverpool in a humiliating defeat for Solskjaer.
Since he joined United from Ajax for £40million in September 2020, Van de Beek has started just four times in the Premier League and he has been an unused substitute on 25 occasions.
