Non-essential shops have been given the go-ahead to open up in June. Strict new safety rules will be in place from June 1, when car showrooms and outside markets can open.

Retail businesses, such as shoe shops and clothes stores, can follow suit on June 15. But what does that mean for hairdressers, beauty salons and barbers?

All non-essential businesses were told to close their doors in a bid to help stop the spread of coronavirus during the lockdown.

But business are desperate to get back on their feet, and many Brits in desperate need of haircuts. Unfortunately, it looks like you’ll have to wait until at least July until getting a haircut.
