After the semi-final defeat against Denmark, shirts were sold out as retailers - including kit manufacturer Nike, as well as the official England FA Shop - struggled to keep up with the demand.
Opportunists on auction site eBay inevitably took advantage, pricing the shirt at close to £300 for those desperate enough to pay a premium.
Following defeat in the final, stocks were replenished, but demand had subsided. Tonight, Gareth Southgate's side take on Hungary in their fourth World Cup qualifier.
