Kamala Harris will officially accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for president at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week.
The festivities—which will no doubt be —kick off on Monday night and continue through Thursday. Heavy hitters like former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will speak, along with 2016 Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton.
President Joe Biden will also take the stage on behalf of Harris and her running mate, Minnesota governor , on Monday night.It’s going to be a markedly different atmosphere than what was originally anticipated a few months ago, when enthusiasm for Biden’s candidacy was dwindling.
All the networks will be reporting live from the United Center (home of the Chicago Bulls) each evening, with CNN, MSNBC, , , , and more doing all-day coverage.
