Nicola Sturgeon will provide an update on the latest review into Scotland’s lockdown restrictions later today. The First Minister is expected to outline a series of dates as to when the likes of non-essential businesses and the hospitality sector can reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Pubs, restaurants and shopping centres are among the businesses that have remained closed during the stay at home lockdown restrictions imposed since Boxing Day last year.The number of people testing positive for coronavirus across the country has plummeted during this period, while the number of people vaccinated is now close to two million in Scotland.
