Shaughna Phillips took to Instagram to reveal that she had surgery on her legs.The Love Island star took a snap of her bandaged legs with the caption ‘Hello swollen tootsies’.Since the 26-year-old first appeared on our screens back in January, she has been relentlessly harassed on Twitter for her thick legs – with fans flocking to support the star.However, Shaughna has now shared the news that her legs were enlarged due lipoedema.

Here’s what we know about the condition.According to the NHS website, lipoedema is a chronic condition where a person gets an abnormal build-up of fat cells in the legs, thighs, bum, and sometimes arms.The condition is almost only found in women.
