It comes after the 2019 local election for all 21 wards. The Blackpool Council elections were taking place at the same time as the Lancashire County Council elections.
Blackpool Council is a unitary authority - meaning it is not represented on Lancashire County Council and instead control all matters relating to highways, education, social services, waste management, and health and wellbeing.
