Manchester City have seen a £86.5m offer for Lucas Paqueta knocked back, according to reports. MEN Sport reported that Pep Guardiola is still looking to add another midfielder to his squad despite the expectation that Bernardo Silva will stay at the club.
City bid for Declan Rice but decided he was too expensive, paving a move to Arsenal. Paqueta only joined West Ham from Lyon last summer for a club record £51m but is on the club's shortlist.
They reportedly made an initial offer of 80m euros. Now, according to Foot Mercato a second offer of 100m euros has been rejected too.
The report also states that Paqueta is City's 'end of transfer priority’. READ MORE: Man City give Josko Gvardiol and Nathan Ake updates vs Burnley Guardiola refused to comment on the speculation at his pre-match press conference.
