Vladimir Putin 'has cancer' and will appoint successor in January, says Kremlin expert

Russia suggest that President Vladimir Putin is suffering from cancer - as well as symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. Professor Valery Solovei, the political analyst who first broke the story of Putin’s failing health, claims that the president had emergency cancer surgery in February.His information, he says, comes from Kremlin insiders “at the epicentre of decision making”.Solovei admits he has “no ethical right to reveal these problems.”The first medical issue, which Solovei describes as being “of psycho-neurological nature,” is the diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease.

He says that this would not necessarily threaten the president’s life, “but just limits public appearances.”However the second health concern is far more serious.
