Reports claim that Victoria, 46, believe's its "unfair" that she is being "slammed" for putting staff on the government scheme as many other companies have done the same during the coronavirus pandemic.
The former Spice Girl, who has an estimated family net worth of £335 million, chose to put her staff on the scheme as the world went into lockdown.
Victoria's plan to put her staff on furlough could see her claim tens of thousands in taxpayer money if the government agree to the grant.
Staff placed on furlough are able to remain employed but only 80% of their wages will be claimed back from the government, with up to £2,500
