iOS - Android Work will take place over the next five years to improve a total of 48 urban exchanges, reaching 400,000 homes and business premises across the country.
It follows last month’s announcement that 11 exchanges in Lanarkshire, including Caldercruix, Shotts, Strathaven and Lesmahagow would be similarly improved as part of a programme to reach rural and “some of the country’s hardest-to-serve communities”.
