UK weather: Wales homes 'likely' to be cut off after heavy rain with 10 flood warnings in place

mirror.co.ukTen flood warnings and 41 flood alerts have been issued for areas in Wales which have been hammered by heavy rain throughout Friday.
Natural Resources Wales have issued the warnings for south-west Wales, where flooding is expected, and alerts for western and central areas where flooding is possible.
The warnings cover Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea and Torfaen until midnight.
Amber warnings for rain issued earlier by the Met Office will also remain in place for south Wales and south-west England until midnight.
