Dr Alex George has spent his first Christmas day without his brother working hard in A&E. The Love Island star lost his younger brother Llŷr earlier this year, after the 20-year-old took his own life.
Although the former reality TV star, 30, has endured a tough year, Alex said that being able to work on Christmas has given him a “sense of purpose”.
Due to the current Tier 4 restrictions across the UK, Alex was not able to make it home to his family amid the outbreak of the new Covid-19 strain.
Despite this, he has managed to keep his spirits up. Taking to Instagram on Christmas morning, the star looked cheerful as he posed outside the University Hospital Lewisham in South East London.
