Coronavirus infections have increased by a further 4,422 cases – the latest test results shared in the UK on Saturday reveal.Official government figures now show that 390,358 Brits have been infected with the potentially fatal virus.While the death count in the UK increased by 27 on Friday to bring the total killed by the virus to 41,759.The increase of deaths is the largest single-day jump in fatalities related to the virus since May 8.The revelation that 4,322 new infections were recorded on Friday is an increase of 783 cases compared to the 3,539 cases recorded last Friday.Friday therefore carries the unfortunate title of holding the biggest single-day jump in infections since May 8 – when 4,649 cases were recorded in one day.Of the 21.
