The UK coronavirus hospital death toll has risen by 35 as the Prime Minister is due to make an announcement on lockdown restrictions tomorrow.
England on Sunday reported another 32 deaths in hospitals, in Wales there were two more deaths, in Northern Ireland there was one additional death and in Scotland no new deaths were reported today.
The new death toll marks the smallest daily increase in six days. Last Sunday, October 4, there were 29 deaths recorded from UK hospitals.
The previous Sunday, September 27, the death toll rose by 18, and the Sunday before, September 20, there were 18 further deaths.
