Cruz will make his long-awaited return to the octagon against 'Triple C' early on Sunday morning in the main event of UFC 249 in Jacksonville, Florida. 'The Dominator' has been out of action since losing the 135lb crown to Cody Garbrandt in December 2016 due to a series of injuries.
Cruz has studied Cejudo closely during his time on the sidelines and firmly believes he has the beating of the Olympic gold medallist, who is currently riding a five-fight win streak. "He's one of the best 125-pounders in the world," Cruz said. "But he's not faced the creme of the crop at 135lbs, in my opinion.
