WASHINGTON – The U. S. House of Representatives Wednesday passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan coronavirus relief package championed by President Joe Biden in a near party line vote of 220-211.
The House approval comes as the Biden Administration is in its seventh week and four days after the legislation passed the U.S.
Senate without a single Republican vote in support. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters during the daily briefing that the President would sign the bill on Friday.
