President Joe Biden marked the one year of coronavirus with an inclusive speech on Thursday (March 11). The 78-year-old Commander in Chief addressed a handful of issues, including Asian-American hate crimes and the vaccine roll out, all while honoring the 500,000+ lives that were lost. “No more searching day and night for an appointment for you and your loved ones,” he mentioned about the roll out, adding that all adults, no matter what age, will be able to get the vaccine by May.

He continued, “If we do our part, if we do this together, by July the fourth, there is a good chance that you, your family and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or your neighborhood and have a cookout or a BBQ and celebrate Independence Day.
