The youngsters - aged 12 and 13 - were rushed to hospital after the horror incident in Saughton Park on Saturday morning It’s understood the pair found a box of fireworks in the park and picked it up.Seconds later it exploded leaving both youngsters with injuries to their hands.The boys managed to get home before the police and ambulance was called.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “Officers were called to an address on Saughton Mains Terrace around midday following reports of children being injured by fireworks.“A 12 and 13-year-old have been taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh.”The accident was the latest in a list of Fireworks’.
