Tributes to Blind Date's Graham Skidmore after death of beloved TV icon

Graham Skidmore died at the end of December 2021, his family have revealed. Graham Skidmore, affectionately known as 'Our Graham' on famous TV show Blind Date died at the age of 90, The Sun has reported. From 1993 to 2002 he also did the voice over for Vic and Bob's Shooting Stars - and while he had multiple other credits including in TV series Drummonds and Songs for the Times, his most famous stint remains Blind Date.He was dropped from the series in 2002 after 17 years as part of the programme's revamp to halt sliding ratings, but only lasted an extra year.

However the show did return years later with Paul O'Grady and Melanie Sykes from 2017 to 2019. Many fans will remember Graham as a vital part of the show, but away from his lengthy stint on the gameshow, he focused on his family, which includes his three children and his five grandchildren.

Graham sadly died on December 27 2021, but the news of his passing has only just been confirmed.Graham had vascular dementia in his last 10 years and spent his final years living in Kent.
