Travel chaos as power failure sees 'severe disruption' as trains cancelled across parts of Scotland

travel chaos this morning after power failures cancelled trains across Scotland.Due to damage to the overhead wires, no services are able to arrive at or depart from Glasgow Queen Street High Level at the moment.It means the busy routes from Glasgow to Edinburgh as well as Stirling and Aberdeen are currently halted.Services to and from Queen Street Low Level are not affected.In a post on Twitter Scotrail said: "We're currently seeing severe disruption across the network, particularly in the Central Belt with disruption affecting services to/from Glasgow Queen Street High Level and Edinburgh Waverley.

Please do check your journey before you leave the house using the ScotRail app."Meanwhile a failure of the electricity supply to the overhead.
