Eamonn Holmes hit out at Gogglebox on Friday night after his involvement in a celebrity special episode was edited to show him making a lighthearted comment after scenes aired of a child calling emergency services because his father was suffering a heart attack.
The 60-year-old television host hit out at the makers of the show – accusing them of editing out his true reaction to the scenes which saw him recount the death of his own father of a heart attack.
Eamonn moved to set the record straight on Twitter. He tweeted: “I am hurt beyond belief that @C4Gogglebox chose not to use me talking about my Father dying from a Heart Attack at the side of a road and replace it with a funny story following a young lad giving his Father CPR .
