Wanderers were humbled 4-0 over the weekend as the Latics took the lead in the first half when Will Keane slotted home early on to put Leam Richardson's side ahead at the break.
Wanderers nearly equalised through skipper Sarcevic just after the break, but Wigan struck back with a fabulous strike from James McClean.
