Tom Parker's widow Kelsey shares his heartbreaking final gesture before untimely death

Tom Parker passed away in March, after a year and a half long battle with brain cancer.Tom went on his last tour with his band mates just before died on 30 March, leaving behind his wife Kelsey, 32, and two young children Bodhi, one, and Aurelia Rose, two.The 33-year-old singer was shockingly given just one year to live in October 2020 when doctors tragically discovered the stage four glioblastoma.He was originally from Bolton, but spent his last days in St Christopher’s Hospice in London surrounded by his family and friends.Kelsey has opened up about Tom’s last moments, told The Sun: “It was just us and there was so much love in that room, it was romantic even then.”She told of the heart-breaking moment where Tom removed his wedding band and placed it on her finger.

Kelsey said: “I think he knew then it was the end but he still had the Tom fight in him. He didn’t want to go.”She said Tom was not in any pain and was sedated, and when he passed she closed his eyes and gave him a kiss.

They had Live Forever by Oasis playing in the room.The childhood sweethearts married in 2018, but the couple met in a club before Tom sky-rocketed to fame with his bandmates.Kelsey launched a GoFundMe page, in her husband’s memory, which has raised more than £65,000.

She found it hard to break the devastating news to her two young children, explaining how she had to be really honest with her toddlers about Tom’s passing.The Gold Forever singer was determined to make the most of his time left despite having the terrifying diagnosis.
