Ed Sheeran Paid Tom Parker's Medical Bills Before His Death

Ed Sheeran was there for his friend Tom Parker during his time of need. In his posthumous memoir Hope: My Inspirational Life, the late The Wanted singer revealed that the 31-year-old “Shape of You” singer paid for his medical bills while be battled brain cancer. Click inside to read more… “I’ve never publicly said this before (and he’ll probably be mad that I’m doing it now) but Ed is a very special man — he even helped out with my medical bills when I was seeking other treatment options and having private immunotherapy,” Tom wrote in a excerpt from his book, which was obtained by The Sun. Tom went on to call Ed a “special men” and his kind gesture “meant the world” to him and his wife, Kelsey Parker. “He didn’t need to do any of that, but my wife Kelsey and I are so grateful to him for his support, it meant the world,” Tom added.

If you didn’t know, Ed and Tom became friends over a decade ago when Ed joined The Wanted on tour. Back in October 2020, Tom revealed that he had a terminal brain cancer. Kelsey announced his death in March 2022 at the age of 33.
