Til Schweiger Stars in Murder Mystery Series ‘Fatal Game,’ Set to Air on New Streamer Vaba TV (EXCLUSIVE)

Emiliana Betancourt The new streaming platform Vaba TV, which launches in January, has acquired the murder mystery series “Fatal Game,” an eight-episode drama starring German actor Til Schweiger (“Inglourious Basterds”).

The project, from USATV Productions, also stars French-Brazilian actor Renan Pacheco (“Désordres”) and Chase Mattson. “Fatal Game,” from writers Sara Sarkissian and Anush Petrosyan, centers on a group of ten friends who travel to a remote island for an engagement party.

When someone is murdered amid the celebration, what was an innocent game suddenly has deadly consequences. With 72 hours until the next boat arrives and another victim every five hours, the group must identify the assassin before it is too late. “With its high production value and compelling interactive narrative, this series is set to become a must-watch for fans of mystery, suspense, and thrillers,” USATV Productions president Bagrat Sargsyan said in a statement.

The series is directed by Roberto Ahumada, who recently made his directorial debut with the female-led drama Second Chances, starring Denise Richards (“Paper Empire”), AnnaLynne McCord (“90210”), and Carolina Gaitàn (“Encanto”).
