The step-daughter of a popular 'odd job man' has pleaded for information as murder squad detectives continue to investigate his death.
William 'Billy' Riddell, 59, was found dead in the bedroom of his flat in Chorlton a month ago. He had suffered injuries after being involved in a 'disturbance' at the property the night he died, detectives have said.
Mr Riddell's step-daughter Sarah Hayden, 41, has now appealed to the public for information to 'find answers', revealing Mr Riddell had been grieving the death of his partner of 26 years last year. Mr Riddell was found dead in a bedroom of a ground floor flat. Concerned paramedics called Greater Manchester Police due to injuries on his body and were informed by neighbours of a 'disturbance' at the property that evening.
