A three-year-old child has been rushed to hospital after being shot in a drive-by attack at a laser tag centre, police have confirmed.
A heavy police presence has gathered outside Zap Zone Laser Tag Fun Center in Delta Township, Eaton County, Michigan, following the incident, reported after 8pm local time on Tuesday, according to local media.
Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich, speaking at the scene, said: "We're investigating a shooting that occurred at the Zap Zone here in Delta Township. "We have a three-year-old that's currently in the hospital and undergoing surgery. "We're following up on some leads and hopefully those leads will follow us on a suspect or the persons responsible for this shooting." Sheriff Reich told the Lansing State
