A 39-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said. He remains there in what is understood to be a critical condition.Three men, aged 20, 21, and 41, have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.They remain in custody waiting to be quizzed by detectives.A police cordon remained in place on Teddington Road and Whistable Road on Thursday morning while officers carried out their investigations.Local residents reported seeing a helicopter circling the area at around 5.30am.
