Ole Gunnar Solskjaer consulted two former Manchester United players before he opted to sign Edinson Cavani. The striker arrived in the summer on a free having left PSG when his contract expired.

Already he has made an impact at Old Trafford, scoring on seven occasions and having an influence on the club's fellow forwards.
