Three London Ambulance Service workers have been suspended over alleged racist comments posted on the organisation's internal website.
Senior managers said the words allegedly used by the three members of staff had caused "great distress" to non-white workers.
They added that any allegations of racism or inappropriate comments which were upheld would attract the "strongest possible" sanctions "up to and including dismissal".
The alleged remarks came after the death of George Floyd in the US and the Black Lives Matter movement and all three have been suspended from duties "pending investigation".
